Rounded rectangles can be used as borders around text or other objects, as needles, as the background for a bar gauge, or for any other reason you can think of to put a rectangle or square with rounded corners on your dashboard. Like many other objects, rounded rectangles use a brush and pen.
The rounded rectangle's corners can be edited in the properties window using the radius value:
PROPERTY REFERENCE |
|
Radius |
This is the radius to round the corners of the rectangle to. A radius of 0 will make the corners completely squared off. The greater the radius, the more rounded the corners will be until eventually it will become an ellipse or a circle. |
The rounded rectangle is derived from the rectangle. Click here for information on sizing the rectangle in the properties window.
