DashXL will not allow editing of Tuxedo 3.0.1
« on: October 28, 2015, 10:44:45 pm »
I have a 07 Expedition that I am making a skin for...all the info I want on one screen.  I am editing from skins that others have uploaded and there are obvious exclusions and things deleted that I would like to keep.  The Tuxedo 3.0.1 skin works and that is what I would like to edit to my liking. DashXL will not allow editing of Tuxedo 3.0.1...can you make the default screen editable?

I've responded to your PM with the latest beta editor that will work with Tuxedo 3.0.

Same issue. Just want to change some small things, don't need a makeover. Many skins are branded/crazy, I just want to edit the default.

Could you help a carguy out here?

Thanks!

PM sent... not showing up as sent in my outbox so I'm not sure if it worked.... coulda swore I sent one months ago but never got a response.

I just need to tune things to be more appropriate for my Abarth ... like making IAT default, and such.

I've downloaded the beta editor and it does not have any way that I can see to alter anything.

I cannot find any parameters or settings that show the embedded values for scale ranges.

I know the organisation does not exist, but people are still, somehow changing and uploading dashboards.  How are they making changes?

Once you open the editor, you have to select one of the individual dashboards and hit the "Edit Dashboard" button. This brings up the dashboard editor, which allows you to search through the tree of objects and change their values. You'll need to find the Needle and Tick Mark objects associated with the gauge you want to change.

You can also go through this tutorial to get a better feel for how gauges are usually set up:
