Use of GM Enhanced PIDs
« on: June 09, 2014, 05:35:06 pm »
With the latest release of DashCommand, the logging speed and real time gauges have increased by an order of magnitude on my Galaxy Note 3. This prompted me to start development of a Knock Retard Monitor as at almost 500 hp, I'm pushing the design edge of my GM LNF 2.0 Liter. Knock Retard Angle has been my enemy since I passed the 300 hp realm but knock retard during normal driving isn't an issue. With that said, I'm in the development process of a Knock Warning that only notifies me when load is greater than 100%, RPM is greater than 4,000, boost is greater than 10 psi and Knock Retard is greater than 4.5 degrees.

The attached scripts are still at beta level so use them at your own risk. I'll upload the DashBoard after I've thoroughly tested the scripts and their PID Values.
